We are delighted to offer you the possibility of spending a holiday in a wonderful complex in Bulgaria. This modern building is situatued in the very heart of the famous Sunny Beach, 200 meters away from the beaches of the Black Sea and only 15 miles away from Burgas airport.
THE APARTMENTS
We own two double bedroom apartments in the Royal Sun holiday complex. They are located adjacent to one another, on the third floor. The apartments share a common balcony, separated only by a short glass wall.
The apartments consist of two rooms, totalling 47,91 sq. m. The open-plan kitchen-living room includes extendable sofa, tv, phone, kitchen table, and a well-equipped kitchen. The apartments are air conditioned. The double bedroom includes a large wardrobe and a dressing table. In the bathroom, you will find a well-sized bathtub with an overhead shower. The living room opens out onto a balcony overlooking the Royal Sun's attractive poolside quad area, fully equipped with sun loungers and parasols.
THE ROYAL SUN
At the Royal Sun complex, you will find the resort's restaurant and bar, a SPA centre (with jaccuzi, sauna, tanning bed and treatments), a gym, a supermarket, and a currency exchange office. The poolside area includes two well-sized pools and a children's pool together with a playground.

DISTANCES
The Royal Sun apartments are located in the very centre of town. Distance to the beach is 200 m, approximately a 10 minute walk.
The apartments are 30 km away from Bourgas Airport and 100 km from Varna Airport. Airport transfers can be easily arranged with the resort reception for your convenience at a reasonable cost. Alternatively, a single bus route runs directly from the Bourgas Airport to the Royal Sun apartments.

Royal Sun is one of the most modern and luxury apartment complexes on the Bulgarian Riviera - Sunny Beach. It is located 30 km north of the second largest city of the Black Sea coast - Bourgas

What is the address of the hotel?
There are no names for streets in Sunny Beach. As strange as it sounds, residents of Sunny Beach do not give particular names to the streets. Instead, they use names of the hotels, guest houses, etc. So when you say that you live in the Royal Sun, the locals would understand.
How to get there?
BY AIR. Several budget flights operate between a number of European cities and the closest airport - Bourgas. Although the airport is called Bourgas, it is located a dozen kilometers north-east of the city of Bourgas - in Sarafovo (look at the map above). The airport is approximately 30 km from the Royal Sun apartments, which takes approximately 25 minutes by car. You can get a taxi for 20 euros per person or a local bus which stops right in front of the hotel - tickets costing 7 leva per person. Alternatively, you can fly to Varna airport and then travel by bus to Sunny Beach - which is approximately a 100 km route.
BY CAR. For Polish residents, there are two routes that will take you the apartments: one leads through Romania and EU countries, whilst the other goes through Serbia, where you are required to have your passport and insurance card with you. While the Serbian route is much quicker due to the large number of motorways you take, the Romanian route, although slow, is beautiful, details below.
The Romanian route:
Approximately 1500 km from Krakow to Sunny Beach. We usually take the following route: Kraków - Nowy Targ - Jurgów (border) - Poprad - Košice - Seňa (border) - Miskolc - Debrecen - Berettvoujfalu (border) - Oradea - Cluj Napoca - Turde - Tirgu - Brasov - Bucharest - Giurgiu/Ruse (to enter Bulgaria you have to cross the bridge over the Danube river which costs 6 euros per person) - Razgrad - Varna - Sunny Beach.
What does the apartment include?
The apartment has: TV, electric kettle, coffee French press, toaster, cooking pots, drink glasses, mugs, a variety of plates, wine glasses, shot glasses, fridge, electric stove with an oven, iron, most kitchen utensils.
In the bathroom apart from the bathtub fitted with a shower, there is boiler which heats up very quickly and is operated by a switch on the wall, next to the bathroom door.
There is also a small extendable bed for a baby (up to 120 cm tall).
What are the food options in and around the hotel?
The apartment complex has its own restaurant which serves regular meals. We would also recommend you to explore the many amazing restaurants the town has to offer. The food is not expensive, and the portions are large. A restaurant close to the apartments serves a buffet option and is a very popular option amongst tourists and locals. The nearby supermarkets Mlodost and Perla, sell a broad range of ready made meals which can be warmed up in the oven. The restaurants found in the town serve many Turkish delicacies such as moussaka, dolma (vine leave rolls) and baklava (extremely sweet traditional pastries). Bulgarian white cheese is delicious - add cucumber, tomatoes and olive oil, and you have just prepared the Bulgarian national dish - shopska salad!
The Bulgarians are known for beaconing in customers to their restaurants, so don't get bullied into the first restaurant - there are many wonderful restaurants so make an informed decission. The menu is usually multilingual with loads of pictures, and is commonly displayed outside a restaurant, so you can have a look before deciding to go in.
A very popular activity in Sunny Beach is karaoke. The Bulgarian night comes to life with live music in numerous pubs and bars, many of which play Bulgarian folk music which is enjoyed by all ages. Sunny Beach is a holiday destination which Bulgarians are proud of, so come and enjoy some of the best parties in town!
Can I keep my car at the hotel?
There are parking spaces available for hotel guests. We recommend the parking which is located right next to the entrance to our block - A. The parking has a 24/7 CCTV monitoring and is free of charge for our guests.
Where is the best place to exchange currency?
We have found that the best exchange rate from euro to leva is the Alpha Bank situated close to the hotel.
Is there anything else we should know about the Royal Sun and Sunny Beach in general?
For your safety, the beach is lifeguarded and the sea bottom declines steadily. The sand on the beach is very warm and so is the sea. Last season, the price for a beach umbrella and a lounger costed 7 leva each. There is always space to spread your own towel!
Sunny Beach has two water parks, to which you can take a free bus directly from outside of the hotel. Everything seems to be very close to the apartments; the bus to Nessebar goes regularly, tickets costing 1 leva. It takes 30 minutes to get to Bourgas, and even less time to get to the airport.

A cable internet connection is available for 36 leva per week (ask at the reception for details). Additionally, free wifi is available in almost every bar.
Upon arrival you will collect your keys from the reception where you will be asked to show your passport/national ID card. The key is installed with a chip that grants you access to the main gates and the staircase where our apartments are located. The apartment complex is monitored 24 hours a day by security and CCTV monitoring. Your chip will be valid only for the duration of your stay. You will be escorted to the apartment by the hotel staff.
